Share the spirit of St. Joseph's annual rite of spring. This citywide event includes a grand parade, a Kansas City Barbecue Society sanctioned barbecue contest, live music and other activities. The barbecue contest is held in Civic Center Park Friday evening and Saturday The parade (at 9:30 a.m.) runs from the staging area on Corby Parkway, south on Ashland, west on Frederick Blvd., south on 9th Street, and west on Felix to 5th Street. Labor Day Weekend 2014 marks the 3rd of the JoeStock Music Festival. It will be held over 3 days at the Felix Street Square in St. Joseph MO. The music festival is free admission for all ages. It is produced in conjunction with the Missouri Music Hall of Fame, The St. Joseph Music Foundation, and "The Regular Joe" Alternative-press publication.
